استقبل السيد نقيب المهندسين العراقيين، المهندس ذوالفقار حوشي المكصوصي، وفداً من معهد الفلسفة وعلم الاجتماع في الأكاديمية البولندية للعلوم، ضمّ كل من الدكتورة دوروتا فيرونيشكا، والباحثة إلكسندرا فوجتازيك، بحضور خبير الطرق والجسور المهندس الاستشاري عدنان احمد مظلوم.
وخلال اللقاء، رحب السيد النقيب بالوفد البولندي، مؤكدًا استعداد نقابة المهندسين العراقيين الكامل للتعاون مع الباحثين والجهات العلمية في دعم المشاريع البحثية المتعلقة بالبنية التحتية للعراق.
وأضاف السيد النقيب، إننا في نقابة المهندسين نعتبر أن الحفاظ على التراث الهندسي والمعماري للعراق جزءًا من مسؤولياتنا، وسنعمل جاهدين على دعم كافة المبادرات التي تساهم في تطوير وتأهيل الجسور والبنية التحتية في بغداد.
من جانبه، قدم المهندس عدنان مظلوم عرضاً شاملاً حول أهم مراحل بناء الجسور في بغداد وتاريخها، بالإضافة إلى المعلومات المتعلقة بعمرها وصيانتها.
وأعربت الدكتورة دوروتا فيرونيشكا عن شكرها وتقديرها لجهود نقابة المهندسين العراقية في دعم البحث العلمي والمشاريع المتعلقة بالبنية التحتية في العراق.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن الاجتماع كان جزءاً من مشروع بحثي يتعلق بالعمارة والتخطيط في بغداد منذ الثمانينات وحتى عام 2024، بهدف دراسة التطورات في مجال البنية التحتية وتحليلها ضمن سياق تاريخي ومعماري شامل.

The President of the Engineers Syndicate Affirms the Syndicate’s Support for Academic Research During His Meeting with a Polish Academic Delegation
Mr. Dhulfiqar Houshi Al-Maksoosi, President of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, received a delegation from the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences, which included Dr. Dorota Weronika and researcher Aleksandra Wojtasik, in the presence of roads and bridges expert, consultant engineer Adnan Ahmed Mazloum.
During the meeting, the President welcomed the Polish delegation, affirming the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate’s full readiness to cooperate with researchers and scientific bodies in supporting research projects related to Iraq’s infrastructure.
The President added that the Engineers Syndicate considers the preservation of Iraq’s engineering and architectural heritage part of its responsibilities and will strive to support all initiatives that contribute to the development and rehabilitation of bridges and infrastructure in Baghdad.
For his part, engineer Adnan Mazloum presented a comprehensive overview of the main stages of bridge construction in Baghdad and their history, including information on their lifespan and maintenance.
Dr. Dorota Weronika expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate in supporting scientific research and projects related to infrastructure in Iraq.
It is worth noting that the meeting was part of a research project related to architecture and planning in Baghdad from the 1980s to 2024, aiming to study and analyze developments in the field of infrastructure within a comprehensive historical and architectural context.
