نظمت لجنة النشاط الثقافي في نقابة المهندسين العراقية ورشة تدريبية بعنوان “الطاقة المتجددة والطاقة الشمسية”، بالتعاون مع شركة بلاد أوتو لحلول الطاقة.
قدّم الورشة المهندس زياد سلام، أحد خريجي تدريب “تدقيق الطاقة” الذي نُفّذ بالتعاون مع مركز التجارة الدولي ضمن إطار التعاون مع بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى العراق، خلال شهر تشرين الثاني ٢٠٢٥.
وتأتي هذه الورشة تجسيداً لرؤية لجنة النشاط الثقافي ونهج نقابة المهندسين العراقية، بقيادة وتوجيه السيد نقيب المهندسين العراقيين المهندس الاستشاري ذوالفقار حوشي المكصوصي، في بناء نموذج تدريبي مستدام يقوم على التدريب النوعي ونقل الخبرات عبر نشاطات تطبيقية متخصصة داخل النقابة.
وتناولت الورشة محاور عملية شملت: التعريف بالطاقة المتجددة وبدائلها ومجالات استخدامها، أساسيات واستخدامات الطاقة الشمسية، مبادئ تصميم أنظمة الطاقة الشمسية في العراق، إرشادات التشغيل والصيانة، مفاهيم رقابة الجودة في المشاريع الهجينة للطاقة الشمسية، إلى جانب لمحة عن سوق الكربون العالمي ومتطلباته، واستعراض مسارات العمل الواعدة للمهندسين الشباب في هذا القطاع.
تقدم لجنة النشاط الثقافي في نقابة المهندسين العراقية الشكر والتقدير لمقدّم الورشة والحضور الكريم، مؤكدين الاستمرار بتنظيم أنشطة تخصصية تسهم في تطوير مهارات المهندسين وتواكب تطورات قطاع الطاقة.

IEU Cultural Activities Committee Organizes a Workshop Titled “Solar Energy and Renewable Energy”
The Cultural Activities Committee (CAC) at the Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU) organized a training workshop titled “Renewable Energy and Solar Energy”, in cooperation with Bilad Utu for Energy Solutions.
The workshop was delivered by Eng. Zeyad Salam, a graduate of the “Energy Auditing” training that was implemented in cooperation with the International Trade Centre (ITC), within the cooperation framework with the European Union Delegation to Iraq, during November 2025.
This workshop reflects the vision of the Cultural Activities Committee (CAC) and the approach of the Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU), under the leadership and guidance of the IEU President, Consultant Engineer Thulfiqar Hoshi, to build a sustainable training model based on quality capacity-building and knowledge transfer through specialized applied activities hosted at the Union.
The workshop covered practical topics, including an introduction to renewable energy, its alternatives, and fields of application, solar energy fundamentals and uses, principles of designing solar energy systems in Iraq, operation and maintenance guidance, quality control concepts in hybrid solar projects, an overview of the global carbon market and its requirements, and a review of promising career pathways for young engineers in this sector.
The Cultural Activities Committee (CAC) at the Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU) extends its appreciation to the trainer and all participants, reaffirming its commitment to continuing specialized activities that enhance engineers’ skills and keep pace with developments in the energy sector.
