عقدت نقابة المهندسين العراقية، اجتماعاً تنسيقياً في نقابة المهندسين العراقية – لجنة النشاط الثقافي، برئاسة المهندس يحيى سامي من لجنة النشاط الثقافي ومسؤول تنسيق ملف التعاون ومحفظة الشراكات الدولية في نقابة المهندسين العراقية مع وفد مركز التجارة الدولية الذي ضم المهندس مصطفى المصلح مدير مشروع بيت من جانب مركز التجارة الدولية، والسيدة كيران هونزاي مسؤولة المتابعة والتقييم ضمن مشروع بيت، والمهندس ميسر ناصر مسؤول التواصل والاعلام.
ناقش الاجتماع متطلبات المتابعة والتقييم والتعلم والمساءلة للأنشطة المشتركة التي ينفذها مركز التجارة الدولية بالتعاون مع نقابة المهندسين العراقية ضمن مشروع بناء التحول الشامل والعادل “بيت”، الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي وبإشراف بعثته إلى العراق، بما يضمن توثيق النتائج وتحصيل الدروس المستفادة لتحسين جودة المخرجات وفق منهجية مبسطة وواضحة.
كما تضمن اللقاء بحث الخطوات المقبلة لتطوير وتنفيذ برامج تدريبية نوعية أكثر معنى وارتباطاً باحتياجات المهندسين، وبما يحقق أثراً حقيقياً للمهندسين وتقدماً عملياً للنقابة ويعزز مخرجات مشروع بيت وبرنامج الشراكة.
كما التقى الوفد بالدكتور المهندس زيد عز الدين محمد نوري، نائب نقيب المهندسين العراقيين، والدكتور المهندس عادل حسين النعيمي، رئيس لجنة النشاط الثقافي.
وشهدت الزيارة جولة قادها المهندس يحيى سامي لتعريف الوفد الزائر بارجاء النقابة وقاعاتها التدريبية واقسامها ولجانها وحيثيات عملها بعد حملة الاعمار والتطوير.

The Iraqi Engineers Union Holds a Coordination Meeting with the International Trade Centre under the EU-Funded BEIT Project
The Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU) held a coordination meeting at the Iraqi Engineers Union – Cultural Activities Committee (CAC) Office, chaired by Eng. Yahya Sami, CAC member and IEU Coordination FP of the cooperation file and the international partnerships portfolio at the Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU). The meeting was held with a delegation from the International Trade Centre (ITC), including Eng. Mustafa Al-Musleh, BEIT Project Manager on behalf of ITC, Ms. Kieran Hounsai, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer under the BEIT project, and Eng. Moyeser Nasser, Communications and Media Officer.
The meeting discussed the Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Accountability (MELA) requirements for the joint activities implemented by ITC in cooperation with the IEU under the Building Equitable and Inclusive Transformation (BEIT) project, funded by the European Union and supervised by the European Union Delegation to Iraq. The discussion aimed to ensure results are properly documented and lessons learned are captured to improve the quality of outputs through a clear and simplified methodology.
The meeting also reviewed next steps to develop and deliver more meaningful, high-quality training programs that are better aligned with engineers’ needs, achieve tangible impact for engineers, support the Union’s practical progress, and strengthen the outputs of the BEIT project and the partnership programme.
The delegation also met with Dr. Eng. Zaid EzzAl-Deen Mohammed Nouri, Vice President of the Iraqi Engineers Union, and Dr. Eng. Adil Hussein Al-Nuaimi, Head of the Cultural Activities Committee (CAC).
The visit included a tour led by Eng. Yahya Sami, introducing the visiting delegation to the Union’s facilities, training halls, departments, committees, and operational context following the recent renovations and development campaign.
