باشرت لجنة النشاط الثقافي في نقابة المهندسين العراقية أعمال الدفعة الثانية من تدريب أنظمة الطاقة الشمسية، الذي يُنفذ بالتعاون مع مركز التجارة الدولية (ITC) ، وبالتنسيق مع بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى العراق، ضمن مشروع بناء التحول العادل والشامل في العراق (BEIT) الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
وشهد اليوم الأول من التدريب، الاثنين 22 حزيران / يونيو 2026، حضور أكثر من 70 مهندساً ومهندسة في قاعة بغداد بالمقر العام لنقابة المهندسين العراقية.
حضر الافتتاح المهندس الاستشاري شاكر عبد الحميد، أمين السر المساعد في نقابة المهندسين العراقية ومدير المكتب الاستشاري للنقابة. حيث ألقى كلمة الافتتاح من جانب النقابة المهندس يحيى سامي، ممثلا عن لجنة النشاط الثقافي ومسؤول الشراكات الدولية، وأكد في كلمته على أهمية هذا المسار التدريبي في دعم قدرات المهندسين في مجالات الطاقة الشمسية والتحول الأخضر ومباركة السيد النقيب المهندس الاستشاري ذو الفقار حوشي هذا التعاون والشراكة المؤسسية.
وقدم المهندس مصطفى المصلح، مدير مشروع بيت من جانب مركز التجارة الدولية، كلمة المركز الافتتاحية مبينا بعض التفاصيل عن هيكلية مشروع بيت وتمويله والمؤسسات المنفذة وأصحاب المصلحة فيه من المؤسسات الحكومية.
وتولى تنفيذ اليوم التدريبي الاول فريق مركز التجارة الدولية، بمشاركة المهندس صالح محمود والمدرب الرئيس حسام الدين خليل، حيث أجرى المشاركون الاختبار القبلي، وبدأوا بالتعرف على المدخل العام لأنظمة الطاقة الشمسية ومكوناتها وأنواعها وملحقاتها الأساسية، تمهيداً للانتقال خلال الأيام اللاحقة إلى الجوانب التصميمية والكهربائية والعملية والمالية المرتبطة بالمنظومات الشمسية.
وتؤكد نقابة المهندسين العراقية استمرارها في دعم البرامج الفنية المتخصصة التي تسهم في تطوير مهارات المهندسين، وربط المعرفة التطبيقية باحتياجات سوق العمل وقطاعات الطاقة والاستدامة في العراق.

Iraqi Engineers Union Launches the Second Cohort of Solar Systems Training under the BEIT Project
The Cultural Activities Committee at the Iraqi Engineers Union commenced the second cohort of the Solar Energy Systems Training, implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and in coordination with the European Union Delegation to Iraq, under the EU-funded Building Equitable and Inclusive Transformation in Iraq (BEIT) project.
The first training day, was held on Monday, 22 June 2026, and was attended by more than 70 male and female engineers at Baghdad Hall, in the IEU General HQ.
The opening was attended by Consultant Engineer Shakir AbdulHameed, Deputy Secretary General of the Iraqi Engineers Union and Director of the IEU Engineering Consultancy Bureau. The IEU opening remarks were delivered by Eng. Yahya Sami, representing the Cultural Activities Committee and functioning as International Partnerships Coordinator. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of this training track in supporting engineers’ capacities in the fields of solar energy and green transition, while conveying the support and endorsement of the IEU President, Consultant Engineer Thulfiqar Hoshi, for this institutional cooperation and partnership.
Eng. Mustafa Al-Muslih, BEIT Project Manager from the International Trade Centre, delivered the ITC opening remarks, presenting key details on the structure of the BEIT project, its funding, implementing institutions, and relevant governmental stakeholders.
The first training day was delivered by the ITC team, with the participation of Eng. Salih Mahmoud and Lead Trainer Husam Al-Deen Khalil. Participants completed the pre-training test and began with an introduction to solar energy systems, including their main components, types, and supporting peripherals, paving the way for the following training days, which will address the design, electrical, practical, and financial aspects of solar systems.
The Iraqi Engineers Union affirms its continued support for specialized technical programmes that contribute to developing engineers’ skills and linking applied knowledge with the needs of Iraq’s labor market, energy sector, and sustainability priorities.
