اختتمت لجنة النشاط الثقافي في نقابة المهندسين العراقية أعمال الدفعة الثانية من تدريب أنظمة الطاقة الشمسية، الذي نُفذ بالتعاون مع مركز التجارة الدولية (ITC)، وبالتنسيق مع بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى العراق، ضمن مشروع بناء التحول العادل والشامل في العراق (BEIT) الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
واستمر التدريب لمدة أربعة أيام، من 22 إلى 25 حزيران / يونيو 2026، في قاعة بغداد بالمقر العام لنقابة المهندسين العراقية، بمشاركة أكثر من 70 مهندساً ومهندسة.
وتناول البرنامج التدريبي محاور فنية وعملية شملت أساسيات أنظمة الطاقة الشمسية، مكونات المنظومات، أنواع الألواح والهياكل الحاملة وخيارات الخزن، إضافة إلى العواكس والتوصيلات الكهربائية، اختيار الكابلات وأجهزة الحماية، ممارسات السلامة، استكمال تصميم المنظومة، توافق المكونات، الصيانة الوقائية، تشخيص الأعطال، والجوانب المالية والتجارية المرتبطة بمنظومات الطاقة الشمسية السكنية.
وشهدت أيام التدريب تنفيذ اختبارات وتطبيقات عملية ونقاشات فنية ركزت على ربط المعرفة النظرية باحتياجات السوق العراقية، وتمكين المهندسين من فهم المسار الأساسي لتصميم وتقييم وتسويق حلول الطاقة الشمسية على مستوى المباني السكنية والمشاريع الصغيرة. حيث تولى تنفيذ التدريب فريق مركز التجارة الدولية، بمشاركة المهندس صالح محمود والمدرب الرئيس حسام الدين خليل، بمتابعة وتنسيق لجنة النشاط الثقافي في نقابة المهندسين العراقية.
اختتم التدريب باجراء الاختبار البعدي وتقييم التجربة من ثم الصورة الجماعية وكلمة اختتام التدريب، حيث القى كلمة النقابة المهندس يحيى سامي مسؤول الشراكات الدولية وعضو لجنة النشاط الثقافي ناقلا تحيات ومباركة نقيب المهندسين العراقيين المهندس الاستشاري ذو الفقار حوشي المكصوصيورئيس لجنة النشاط الثقافي الدكتور المهندس عادل النعيمي. والقى المهندس مصطفى المصلح (مدير مشروع بيت من جانب مركز التجارة الدولية) كلمة الختام من المركز، إضافة لمشاركة المتدربين بتقديم الشكر والامتنان للنقابة والمؤسسات الدولية على الشراكات والانشطة الفاعلة ذات المعنى التي تقديم فائدة عملية حقيقية للمهندسين العراقيين. تلاها توزيع شهادات اكمال التدريب بنجاح لمن استوفوا الشروط.
وتؤكد نقابة المهندسين العراقية أن هذه البرامج الفنية المتخصصة تمثل خطوة مهمة في دعم قدرات المهندسين، وتعزيز حضورهم في قطاعات الطاقة المتجددة والاستدامة، وربط التدريب المهني بفرص العمل والتحول الأخضر في العراق. تثمن النقابة جهود مركز التجارة الدولية، وبعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى العراق، وفريق التدريب، وشركة الفيافي لحلول الطاقة لتوفير اغلب مواد التدريب العملي، وجميع المهندسين المشاركين الذين أظهروا التزاماً وتفاعلاً مهنياً خلال أيام البرنامج.

Iraqi Engineers Union Concludes the Second Cohort of Solar Systems Training under the BEIT Project.
The Cultural Activities Committee at the Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU) concluded the second cohort of the Solar Systems Training, implemented in cooperation with the International Trade Centre (ITC) and in coordination with the European Union Delegation to Iraq, under the EU-funded Building Equitable and Inclusive Transformation in Iraq (BEIT) project.
The four-day training was held from 22 to 25 June 2026 at Baghdad Hall, IEU General HQ, with the participation of more than 70 male and female engineers.
The training programme covered technical and practical topics, including the fundamentals of solar energy systems, its main components, solar panel types, mounting structures, storage options, inverters, electrical connections, cable selection, protection devices, safety practices, system design completion, component compatibility, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and the financial and business aspects related to residential solar systems.
Throughout the training days, participants completed assessments, practical exercises, and technical discussions focused on linking theoretical knowledge with the needs of the Iraqi market, while enabling engineers to understand the basic workflow of designing, assessing, and presenting solar energy solutions for residential buildings and small-scale projects. The training was delivered by the ITC team, with the participation of Eng. Salih Mahmoud and Lead Trainer Husam Al-Deen Khalil, under the follow-up and coordination of the Cultural Activities Committee (CAC) at the IEU.
The training concluded with the post-training assessment and program evaluation, followed by the group photo and closing remarks. The IEU closing remarks were delivered by Eng. Yahya Sami, International Partnerships Focal Point and member of the CAC, conveying the greetings and congratulations of the IEU President, Consultant Engineer Thulfiqar Hoshi, and the Head of the Cultural Activities Committee, Dr. Eng. Adel Al-Nuaimi.
Eng. Mustafa Al-Muslih (BEIT Project Manager from the ITC) delivered the closing remarks on behalf of the Centre. Participants also expressed their appreciation to the Union and the international institutions for the active and meaningful partnerships and activities that provide real practical value to Iraqi engineers. Certificates of successful completion were then distributed to participants who fulfilled the training requirements.
The IEU affirms that such specialized technical programmes represent an important step in supporting engineers’ capacities, strengthening their presence in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors, and linking professional training with employment opportunities and Iraq’s green transition.
The IEU extends its appreciation to the International Trade Centre, the European Union Delegation to Iraq, the training team, as well as Al-Fiafi company for Energy Solutions, and all participating engineers for their commitment and professional engagement throughout the program.
