:ISP company in,Baghdad looking for Senior NOC

Understanding of OSI model layers and basic network concepts

 Familiarity with IP addressing, subnetting, and basic routing concepts

 Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and common network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP)

 Ability to diagnose network issues and identify possible solutions

 Familiarity with common troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, nslookup, etc.)

 Skill in handling alarms, investigating incidents, and escalating issues when necessary

 Experience or familiarity with NOC and monitoring tools like PRTG, Zabbix, or similar platforms

 Ability to interpret alerts and status indicators to assess network health

 Knowledge of alert configurations and thresholds for monitoring system performance

 Competency in using the command line (especially if working with Linux) for basic diagnostics

 Familiarity with tools like SSH for accessing network devices remotely

 Ability to document network incidents, outages, and resolutions clearly and accurately

 Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and basic security protocols

 Awareness of security best practices for network operation and incident handling

 Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical staff

 Skill in providing clear and timely updates on incident status and resolution progress

 Ability to prioritize incidents and manage time effectively, especially in high-pressure situations

 Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to critical network issues

 Openness to new technologies, practices, and tools within networking

 Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, often under the mentorship of senior engineers

 Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

 Basic knowledge of network device configurations and their roles in the network infrastructure

 Skill in handling (VIP) client interactions professionally, understanding client impact, and focusing on minimizing downtime
