اختتمت نقابة المهندسين العراقية، ممثلةً بلجنة النشاط الثقافي، أعمال الدفعة الثانية من برنامج تدريب تدقيق الطاقة، الذي نُفِّذ بالتعاون مع مركز التجارة الدولي (ITC) وبالتنسيق مع بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى العراق، ضمن مشروع بناء التحول العادل والشامل في العراق (BEIT) المموَّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
واستمر البرنامج التدريبي لمدة أربعة أيام، للفترة من 1 إلى 4 حزيران 2026، بواقع أربع ساعات تدريبية يومياً، وبمجموع (16) ساعة تدريبية، بمشاركة أكثر من (48) مهندساً ومهندسةً أكملوا متطلبات التدريب بنجاح.
وشهد اليوم الختامي تنفيذ الجانب العملي الخاص بالتصوير والقياس الحراري للكشف عن التسربات باستخدام أجهزة ومعدات متخصصة، فضلاً عن تقديم مشاريع التطبيق النهائي لمجموعات المتدربين على أداة تدقيق الطاقة (AuditMyBEIT)، وإجراء الاختبار البعدي واستكمال استمارات تقييم البرنامج، قبل اختتام التدريب وتوزيع الشهادات على المشاركين والتقاط الصور التذكارية الجماعية.
ومثّل نقابة المهندسين العراقية في فعاليات الاختتام المهندس يحيى سامي، عضو لجنة النشاط الثقافي، فيما حضر من جانب مركز التجارة الدولي السيد كيف نغويين، الممثل المحلي للمركز في العراق، إلى جانب المهندس مصطفى المصلح، مدير مشروع (BEIT)، والمهندس وفاق أحمد، أخصائي البرامج في المركز، والدكتور المهندس حسام سمير، المدرب الخبير على الأداة التدريبية.
وتؤكد نقابة المهندسين العراقية أن هذه الشراكات النوعية تسهم في تطوير قدرات المهندسين المهنية في مجالات كفاءة الطاقة وتدقيق المباني، وتعزيز مهاراتهم في استخدام الأدوات والتطبيقات الحديثة المطلوبة في سوق العمل العراقي، مثمنةً جهود جميع المشاركين الذين أكملوا البرنامج بنجاح، ومشجعةً إياهم على توظيف ما اكتسبوه من معارف وخبرات في تطوير مسيرتهم المهنية ورفع قابليتهم للتوظيف.

Iraqi Engineers Union Concludes the Second Cohort of Energy Audit Training under the BEIT Project
The Iraqi Engineers Union, represented by its Cultural Activities Committee, concluded the second cohort of the Energy Audit Training Program, implemented in cooperation with the International Trade Centre (ITC) and coordinated with the European Union Delegation to Iraq under the Building Equitable and Inclusive Transformation in Iraq (BEIT) project, funded by the European Union.
The training program was conducted over four days, from 1 to 4 June 2026, with four training hours per day, totaling 16 training hours. More than 48 male and female engineers successfully completed the program requirements.
The final day included practical training on thermal imaging and thermal measurement techniques for detecting energy leakages using specialized equipment and instruments. Participants also presented their final group projects using the AuditMyBEIT energy auditing tool, completed the post-training assessment, and submitted program evaluation forms before the training concluded with the distribution of certificates and the taking of group commemorative photographs.
Representing the Iraqi Engineers Union at the closing activities was Eng. Yahya Sami, member of the Cultural Activities Committee. From the International Trade Centre, Mr. Ky Phong Nguyen, the Centre’s Local Representative in Iraq, attended the event alongside Eng. Mustafa Al-Muslih, BEIT Project Manager, Eng. Wifaq Ahmed, Programme Specialist at the Centre, and Dr. Eng. Hossam Samir, the lead trainer and expert on the training tool.
The Iraqi Engineers Union affirms that such high-quality partnerships contribute to strengthening engineers’ professional capacities in the fields of energy efficiency and building energy auditing, while enhancing their proficiency in using modern tools and applications required in the Iraqi labor market. The Union commends all participants who successfully completed the program and encourages them to apply the knowledge and experience they have gained to advance their professional careers and improve their employability.
