انطلقت في نقابة المهندسين العراقية أعمال الدفعة الثانية من برنامج تدريب تدقيق الطاقة، بمشاركة أكثر من أربعين مهندساً ومهندسة من مختلف الاختصاصات الهندسية.
ويأتي هذا التدريب بالتعاون مع مركز التجارة الدولي (ITC) وبالتنسيق مع بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى العراق، ضمن مشروع بناء التحول العادل والشامل (بيت – BEIT) المموّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي وباشراف بعثتهم الى العراق.
واستُهلت أعمال التدريب بكلمة ألقاها المهندس يحيى سامي عضو لجنة النشاط الثقافي في نقابة المهندسين العراقية، نقل فيها تأكيدات السيد نقيب المهندسين العراقيين المهندس الاستشاري ذوالفقار حوشي المكصوصي على أهمية تعزيز التعاون المهني مع المؤسسات الدولية، ودور البرامج التدريبية في تزويد المهندسين بالمهارات العملية المطلوبة في سوق العمل، لاسيما في مجالات كفاءة الطاقة وتقييم أداء المباني.
ومثّل فريق مركز التجارة الدولي كل من المهندس مصطفى المصلح (مدير مشروع “بيت” في مركز التجارة الدولي)، والدكتور حسام سمير (مدرب المعتمد لدى المركز)، حيث يتولى الفريق تنفيذ الجانب العملي من التدريب ومتابعة تطبيق أداة تدقيق الطاقة المطوّرة خصيصاً لتلائم السياق العراقي.
وتؤكد نقابة المهندسين العراقية استمرارها في دعم برامج بناء القدرات النوعية وتعزيز الشراكات، ولاسيما مع الجهات الدولية، بما يخدم المهندسين ويسهم في تطوير الممارسة الهندسية في العراق ومواكبة متطلبات التنمية المستدامة.

Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU) Launches the Second Cohort of Energy Auditing Training under the BEIT Project.
The Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU) has launched the second cohort of its Energy Auditing Training Program, with the participation of more than 40 engineers from various engineering disciplines.
The training is implemented in cooperation with the International Trade Centre (ITC) and in coordination with the European Union Delegation to Iraq, as part of the Building Equitable and Inclusive Transformation (BEIT) project, funded by the European Union.
The program commenced with opening remarks delivered by Engineer Yahya Sami (Cultural Activities Committee), who conveyed the message of the President of the Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU), Consulting Engineer Thulfiqar Hoshi Al-Maksousi, Emphasizing the importance of strengthening professional cooperation with international institutions and highlighted the role of specialized training programs in equipping engineers with practical skills required by the labor market, particularly in the fields of energy efficiency and building performance assessment.
The International Trade Centre (ITC) represented by Engineer Mustafa Al-Muslih (BEIT Project Manager at ITC), and Dr. Hussam Samir (Trainer with the ITC) were responsible for delivering the practical aspects of the training and supervising the implementation of the energy auditing tool specifically developed for the Iraqi context (AuditMyBEIT).
The Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU) reaffirms its commitment to supporting high-quality capacity-building programs and strengthening partnerships, particularly with international organizations, in a manner that serves engineers, advances engineering practice in Iraq, and contributes to sustainable development goals.
