Network Engineer
A Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing an organization’s networking infrastructure. With expertise in Cisco and MikroTik technologies, a Network Engineer’s duties may include:
1. *Network Design and Architecture: * Plan and design robust network architectures, incorporating Cisco and MikroTik routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
2. *Implementation and Configuration: * Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco and MikroTik devices to establish and optimize network connectivity.
3. *Routing and Switching: * Manage complex routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies to ensure efficient data flow within the network.
4. *Security Implementation: * Implement and maintain network security measures using Cisco and MikroTik firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
5. *Performance Monitoring: * Continuously monitor network performance, analyze data traffic, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
6. *Troubleshooting: * Identify and resolve network issues promptly, collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.
7. *Certifications: * Hold relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE), and other specialized certifications as needed.
*System Administrator: *
A System Administrator with expertise in Cisco and MikroTik technologies manages and maintains an organization’s IT infrastructure. Responsibilities may include:
1. *Server Management: * Install, configure, and maintain servers, emphasizing compatibility with Cisco and MikroTik networking components.
2. *Network Integration: * Collaborate with Network Engineers to ensure seamless integration of servers with Cisco and MikroTik networking infrastructure.
3. *Security Management: * Implement and manage security protocols on servers, aligning with Cisco and MikroTik best practices to safeguard against cyber threats.
4. *Backup and Recovery: * Develop and execute backup strategies for servers, coordinating with network configurations for comprehensive disaster recovery plans.
5. *User Support: * Provide technical support to end-users, addressing server and network-related issues and ensuring smooth operations.
6. *Documentation: * Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, network integrations, and troubleshooting procedures.
7. *Certifications: * Possess certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), and additional certifications relevant to server administration.
